Patient Assistance Programs through Drug Manufacturers

There are more than 100 drug manufacturer patient assistance programs that can provide people of all ages with free or discounted prescriptions.  Thousands of prescription drugs are available through these programs and it does not cost anything to apply.  Click here for a partial list of manufacturers and prescriptions available through the programs.

Who qualifies?

Most programs have income and/or asset guidelines, but each program is different.   People of all ages and abilities may apply.  Most people who qualify have moderate to low income.

What do I have to do?

Call RxConnect™/Senior LinkAge Line at 1-800-333-2433 to speak with a specialist who can find the right drug manufacturer patient assistance program to meet your income and prescription needs.

When you call you should have the following information ready to share with the specialist:

  • Income and financial information

  • List of prescriptions with dosage information

  • Doctor and clinic name and address

With the information you provide, the RxConnect™/ Senior LinkAge Line specialist will use a computer to fill out the applications and then send them to you.  You will need to bring the application and supporting paperwork to your medical clinic for your doctor to sign before they are sent to the drug manufacturer.  Once approved, the drug manufacturer will send the prescription, usually a three months supply, to your clinic for you to pick up.

If you would like to apply for the programs by yourself, you may go to helpingpatients.org or needymeds.org
