Session description: This class will provide participants with the complete state and federal requirements for the preparation and completion of DD screenings including full team and other action types such as annual reviews. The learner will recognize the DD screening process as one of identifying the consumer’s assessed needs, current and planned services, and service preferences. Based upon the assessed needs, the learner will also learn how to make a final determination of the appropriate risk status or level of care of the individual (NF, ICF-MR) and applicable services according to that risk status. The learner will identify the legal and authorization functions of the screening process and subsequent documentation. Register at the TrainLink Disability Services Learning Center.
