Submitter and
presenter responsibilities

All presenters are required to register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fee. (Selected presenters will receive a discounted conference registration fee. )  Registration will not be waived for presenters unless a presenter is coming to present and leave immediately after. Travel, per diem and other associated costs are the responsibility of each presenter.

Lead speaker responsibilities

The lead speaker is the individual proposing the session on behalf of your group. Lead speakers must provide complete and accurate information requested for all proposed presenters. Lead speakers must review the presenter responsibilities with each presenter prior to proposal submission. Following proposal acceptance, the lead speaker will be asked to:

  • Notify presenters of proposal acceptance
  • Contact presenters to confirm their participation
  • Forward session confirmation materials (provided by the Odyssey Conference Committee) to presenters
  • Collect a brief biographical sketch for each presenter
  • Ensure that presenters register for the conference unless they are coming to present and leave Immediately

Presenter responsibilities

Presenters will be notified of a proposal's acceptance by the lead speaker. Following notification, all presenters will be asked to:

  • Confirm participation with the primary submitter
  • Review session confirmation materials (provided by the Odyssey Conference Committee and forwarded to presenters by the primary submitter)
  • Provide a brief biographical sketch to the lead speaker
  • Register for the conference unless they are coming to present and leave immediately
