Dementia Grants
The Minnesota Board on Aging received an appropriation
to administer a competitive grant program focusing on dementia and its impact on
caregivers. Grants are intended to:
- Increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias,
- Increase the rate of cognitive testing in the population at risk for
dementias,
- Promote the benefits of early diagnosis of dementias, and/or
- Connect caregivers of persons with dementia to education and resources.

Program Data
Reporting
Dementia grantees
are required to report quarterly by submitting a program data reports
on:

January 15
(covering October 1 – December 31 period)

April 15
(covering January 1 – March 31 period)

July 15
(covering April 1 – June 30 period)

October 15
(covering July 1 – September 30 period)
Timely data
reporting is required. Expense reports are also submitted on this same schedule.

To request payment
for grant program expenses incurred, grantees submit quarterly financial reports
through the Enterprise Grants Management System (EGMS) on the 15th of the month,
following the same quarterly schedule listed above for program data reporting.
