Chore Services

Need help maintaining your home? Chore services can help.

A little help with the house can make a huge difference in a senior’s ability to maintain independence. Many communities offer chore services so seniors can get help with a variety of routine work such as:

  • housekeeping
  • yard work
  • snow shoveling and
  • minor home repair and modification

Who is eligible?

While all persons 60 years of age and older are eligible, services are targeted to individuals with the greatest economic and social need. The cost of chore services is usually based on a sliding fee scale or donation, plus any materials needed.
