Age and
Disabilities Odyssey 2005 Awards
The Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Board on
Aging are seeking nominations to honor outstanding organizations and
individuals who work in the aging and/or disabilities community. Awards
will be presented at the Tuesday afternoon social/networking gathering.
Please join us in a special salute to the outstanding accomplishments of
this year’s recipients as we present:
Odyssey Policy Awards
These awards will recognize an
organization or individual who has demonstrated public policy leadership
that resulted in improving quality of life for seniors, people with
disabilities and communities.
Odyssey Innovations Awards
These awards will recognize an
organization or individual who has championed innovations in direct
services, coordination of services, community-based partnerships and
increased the resilience, interdependence and quality of life for seniors,
people with disabilities and their communities.
Odyssey Service Awards
These awards will recognize an
organization or individual that has promoted exemplary practices,
services, and/or advocacy for seniors, people with disabilities and their
communities.
Odyssey Community Awards
These awards will recognize the
efforts of a community to improve services or quality of life for seniors
and people with disabilities.
