will be seeing slight shifts in 2002. Here are the
new numbers compared to the 2001 figures.

New eligibility
guidelines are also in place for other programs that
provide medical help. The new guidelines are:
- Medical
Assistance: Monthly income of no more than $716
singles, $968 couples with assets limited to
$3,000 singles and $6,000 couples.
- Qualified
Medicare Beneficiary: Monthly income of no more
than $736 singles, $988 couples and assets of no
more than $10,000 singles and $18,000 couples.
- Service Limited
Medicare Beneficiary: Monthly income of no more
than $879 singles, $1,181 couples and assets of
no more than $10,000 singles and $18,000
couples.
- Qualified
Individual 1: Monthly income of no more than
$987 singles, $1,327 couples and assets of no
more than $10,000 singles and $18,000 couples.
- Qualified
Individual 2: Monthly income of no more than
$1,273 singles, $1,714 couples and assets of no
more than $10,000 singles and $18,000 couples.
